We know they are frustrating. No one likes disputed transactions. They sometimes happen to us. The procedure for resolving disputed ATM transactions is set by the Australian Payments Network. This is a standard procedure for all financial institutions, whether they are deposit-taking (banks and credit unions) or non-deposit taking like independent ATM deployers. We advise card users using our ATMs to please call the issuer of their credit or debit card. Please note that we are unable to act on any disputed transaction without receiving formal notification from your bank as required by the rules of the Australian Payments Network.
